Erik's Army — Privacy Policy

Erik's Army ("the App", "we", "us") is a soccer match-chat app operated by Stellar Ideas LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account — your email address, or the identifier provided when you use Sign in with Apple or Google (if you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only receive the relay address). We assign you a unique user ID and username.
Content you create — chat messages, poll votes, reports you file, and an optional profile photo you upload.
Preferences — notification settings, followed leagues, and avatar choices.
Device — a push notification token (if you enable notifications).
Subscription status — whether you have an active Premium subscription. Payments are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat; we never receive your card or payment details.

How we use it

To provide the App: authentication, chat, live scores, polls, and Premium features.
To send notifications you've opted into (kickoff reminders, room activity, @mentions).
To keep the community safe: profanity filtering, handling reports, and moderation.

How information is shared

We do not sell your data and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We use service providers only to run the App:

Amazon Web Services — hosting, authentication (Cognito), database, and storage.
RevenueCat & Apple — subscription processing and validation.
Apple / Google — Sign in with Apple/Google and push delivery.
Sportmonks — provides the match/score data we display (this does not involve your personal data).

Chat messages and your username/avatar are visible to other users of the App.

Your choices & rights

Block users and report messages from within the App.
Notifications — turn types on/off in the App, or in iOS Settings.
Access or delete your data — you can delete your account and associated data from within the App (Profile), or email us and we will delete it.

Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, preferences, and avatar; chat messages may be retained in de-identified form for community integrity.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and is rated 12+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is gated by authenticated tokens, and credentials are stored in managed secret storage. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the App.
